Dr. Sallustio or Dr. Azizian was trained in maxillofacial prosthetics at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo, New York. His services provide treatment for those patients afflicted with trauma, congenital defects, or cancer in the head and neck area. He is a member of the Regional Craniofacial Center and the Auricular Reconstructive Team at St. Josephs Hospital in Paterson, NJ for the past 11 years.

Palatal Lift Prosthesis

Case Study: The speech aid appliance – or sometimes called a speech bulb is used for patients who have a deficiency in the soft palate from a tumor, trauma, or cleft palate. The bulb fills the void where the soft palate is missing. The patient can therefore produce normal speech.
