What Are Porcelain Veneers?
Porcelain veneers are thin shells of ceramic that bond directly to the front of the teeth. They are an ideal choice for improving your smile if your teeth are discolored, misshapen or have spaces between them. We are fortunate to have a prosthodontist, Dr. Sallustio, in our office who routinely places veneers to match and enhance your smile. A complimentary consultation can be scheduled with Dr. Sallustio if porcelain veneers are being considered.
Will they look like normal teeth?
Porcelain veneers are strong and durable and their resemblance to healthy tooth enamel is excellent. When bonded to the teeth, the ultra-thin porcelain veneers are virtually undetectable and highly resistant to coffee, tea, and even cigarette stain.
How Durable Are Porcelain Veneers?
With proper care, porcelain veneers will last over a decade.
